Halloween Family Fun Fest

Halloween Family Fun Fest at Beach Road Baptist Church, 4457 Flagship Avenue on Friday, October 28th from 6pm–8pm. Trunk or treat, food, games, prizes, music and fun. Free. Everyone is welcome for this fun fall adventure!

 

Trunk of Treats

Trunk of Treats will be held on Monday, October 31st from 5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in Spring Lake Park in Boiling Spring Lakes. Children 14 and younger are invited to Spring Lake Park for a fun filled night of a safe alternative to trick or treating! The cost is just $2 per child as a suggested donation. All the little ghosts and goblins, pirates and princesses will receive a Trunk of Treats Treat Bag and candy! Get there early and enjoy cold soda and a hot slice of pizza (for the first 500 participants). For more information, contact the Boiling Spring Lakes Parks and Recreation Department.

 

 

Oak Island Spooktacular

The Oak Island Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor Spooktacular on October 28th, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. This free event will be held at the Oak Island Recreation Center. Activities include costume contests, entertainment, candy and games. Businesses and organizations who would like to promote their business by operating a kid friendly game booth should contact the Oak Island Parks & Recreation Department at (910) 278-5518.

 

Grissettown Longwood Fire and Rescue Haunted Trail

When: Friday and Saturday nights in October, and Halloween night Time: Open 7 p.m. until Address: 758 Longwood Road, Ocean Isle Beach (910) 287-3030

This self-guided trek through the woods takes approximately 30 minutes. The trail is family-friendly, but not really for small children. Approximately 3,000 people tour the trail annually. The cost is $10 and the money raised helps support the fire department. There is often a line, especially as it gets closer to Halloween night, but costumed actors, and grown men running screaming from the end of the trail, provide entertainment while waiting.

 

Batty Battleship Halloween Bash

Come Trick or Treat aboard the Battleship NORTH CAROLINA on Tuesday, October 25, 2016, 5:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Batty Battleship, brother Buggy and their friends return to the Battleship for a spooktacular trick or treating time. A lot of fun and no scares for this unique Halloween adventure, which includes animals in a petting zoo. There will also be plenty of candy and sweets to enjoy!

Carnival festivities and a bounce house are also included. Admission is $5 per person. Kids 2 and under free. Some activities are weather dependent. Last ticket sold at 7:30 p.m.
