A New Home For All In Bloom
Just like the flowers and plants they sell, All In Bloom is thriving and growing. Like a plant ready for re-potting, they are moving to a bigger location so that healthy growth can continue.
When Kim Everhart and Tina York started the business in 2017, they counted themselves lucky to find a prime spot.
“We were very blessed to be able to secure a lot on Howe St. to get the business started. We knew from the beginning that in the future that lot would go back on the market and we would either have to buy the lot or move the business,” said Everhart. “When the owner approached us in late 2018 and told us that it was going back on the market we knew we had some hard decisions to make ASAP.”
Having started out “with one small retail building and a cash box,” Everhart said that by that time they were already outgrowing their space. They saw no potential for growth and decided to make a move.
“We hoped we could stay on Howe St. for obvious reasons. We bought the 1200 N. Howe St. property in the spring of 2019 and were thrilled with it,” she said. “It’s a beautiful lot with a lot more room. Which means better parking and room to grow.”
The new location will feature a 1600 square foot retail space, but they plan to keep the character and charm they are known for. They even brought the original retail building to the new location to serve as an office.
“We are really excited about all the new products we will be able to carry in the new shop,” said Everhart. “We will be adding some food products as well as some really unique gift items. We hope to have something for everyone. Lots more statuary, a huge selection of birdbaths, gardening items, garden flags, etc.”
When the new locations opens up on February 26, Kim and Tina want it to be as inviting as possible.
“We really want our customers to come in and shop and want to hang out with us,” Everhart said. “There is going to be several cool spots on the property that you can just relax and enjoy the scenery!”
