Spring and Sweet Sounds are in the air!

This impressive 150-member community chorus has performed an array of styles of music for over 40 years. The Sea Notes Choral Society Presents – Everything’s Coming Up Roses! This year’s concert focuses on songs from Broadway shows throughout the years. If you enjoy show tunes, this is a must-see performance.

THE SEA NOTES The Sea Notes Choral Society presents its 2017 Spring Concert, “Everything’s Coming up Roses” at Odell Williamson Auditorium at Brunswick Community College in Bolivia. Directed by Robert Marks and accompanied by Jane Boberg at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 1and at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 2.  This impressive 150-member community chorus has performed an array of styles of music for over 40 years. This year’s concert focuses on songs from Broadway shows throughout the years! If you enjoy show tunes, this is a must-see show. Sea Notes is a group of one-hundred plus volunteer music lovers that enjoy singing for the pleasure of singing and sharing that joy with our local community.

Three times each year Sea Notes presents free concerts to the community – The Spring Concert, Summer Patriotic Concert, and a festive Christmas Concert. The Sea Notes Choral Society, a non-profit organization, exists so that its members may experience the joy of singing great choral music. Within this primary purpose the aim is to: • Provide opportunity to develop individual and collective talents, both technically and interatively. • Provide anyone of kindred spirit with the same opportunity to find joy, growth and satisfaction. • Contribute to the community’s cultural vitality through the performances. FACE TO FACE Face to Face – Billy Joel & Elton John Tribute Show on the Main Stage at the Odell Williamson Auditorium, Thursday March 23rd at 7pm. These guys are the best in the business when it comes to tributes, and for two hours, you can watch “Elton” (Bennie & The Jets) and “Billy Joel” (Mike O’Brien & Storm Front) perform all the legends’ hits in a fantastic, realistic tribute to the iconic musicians. Bennie and the Jets is the world’s premiere Elton John Tribute. Led by Greg Ransom whose vocals, on stage mannerisms and piano playing are exactly like those of Elton John. Named after Billy Joel’s monster hit 1989 album, Storm Front, vocalist, Mike O’Brien is “the real-deal Billy Joel!”

THE KENNEDYS This Folk Duo offer a variety of unique sounds, cool harmonies, traditional with a hint of alternative folk.
