The Lovely, Lovie – the Pet Issue Cover Winner!

Congratulations to Lovie, our photo contest winner. This black and white cat captures the sweetest look, lying, relaxing and just looking adorable. Those stunning green eyes melted our hearts. It was a unanimous decision to make this our winning cover!

Thank you to all who submitted pet photos! We had an overwhelming response and received way more than we could fit in the magazine. Here are all of the pet photos in their furry-four-legged glory!

Angel Fauntleroy took the photo of Lovie that was chosen for the January 2017 cover. Lovie was rescued by her sister Janet “Kat” Walker and the photo was part of a photo challenge in the photo class she’s taking at the Southport Senior Center. Kat and Angel are thrilled! FYI, Lovie has not become a diva with her new found fame.
