Coastal Home & Lifestyle Show

Coastal living has its unique charms, but also has its unique requirements. How do you find the local businesses that can help you make the most of your life here in our coastal paradise? The annual Coastal Home and Lifestyle Showcase has just what you need. Rescheduled from earlier this spring to Thursday Aug. 25 from 11 am – 3 pm in Oak Island’s Middleton Park, 4610 E. Dolphin Drive, the Showcase is a public event organized by the Southport-Oak Island Area Chamber of Commerce to showcase our area business community which can assist with all aspects of home, garden and coastal lifestyles.

Vendors will be offering free samples and giveaways and the Chamber is offering a $200 cash prize drawing. Food will be available from Wallace Catering and SeaDogs food trucks. The Middleton Stage will play host to entertainment, including Dave’s Not Home and demonstrations from Jazzercise and Hand Crafter Massage and Crafts. 

Admission is free, so come out and support your local business community while having a bit of late summer fun. And why not say for the Sunset Run immediately following the Showcase? Check out all about it in the story right next to this one.

Business owners who would like to participate in the showcase are encouraged to complete the online application at coastalhomeandlifestyleshow.com. The show is open to chamber member businesses and non-members. The vendor fee is $160 for members ($260 for non-members) and $50 for member food and beverage businesses and non-profit organizations ($100 non-members).
