Free Shred Event
Downtown Southport, Inc.(DSI) and the City of Southport are sponsoring a free shredding event on Saturday, March 28 from 11 am – 2 pm at Taylor Park, 409 E. Nash Street, Southport, at the corner of Rhett Street)next to the Old Burying Ground.
Participants are asked to limit their paper goods to three boxes or three bags (copy paper size or kitchen bag size). Material must be dry. The company DSI contracted is “SHRED360,” a certified shredding service.
Participants are asked to enter via East Moore Street onto Rhett Street and look for directional sigange. They are also asked to remain in their vehicles until they reach the shredding truck.
