Happy Birthday to Southport Mag!
October marks another year, Southport Magazine’s 7th birthday, WOW! How time flies when you are having fun.
The people and businesses of Southport, Oak Island and the surrounding areas, really make this a community magazine we hope our readers enjoy all month long.
October is jammed packed full of so many events, haunted trails, festivals, markets, Restaurant Week, and so much more… there just isn’t room for everything.
We strive to bring you community events and cover interesting people and activities that make our area so unique, friendly and feel like home.
So in honor of Halloween and the newest sequel in the blockbuster franchise (now filming in Wilmington) we tried to recreate a scene from the most iconic Halloween horror films of all time on our cover.
Thanks to Taylor Joliff – who willingly posed as “Michael Myers” in the window, Kris Beasley, as Jamie Lee Curtis and of course our creative photographer, Jeff Stites who captures the essence of our vision with ease.
