The Maggies are Back in Town!

Celebrating all that Southport and the surrounding areas have to offer!

There are million reasons to love the Southport area: friendly people, quaint shops and great fishing to name a few. On February 6th we celebrated another reason —The Maggie Awards. A few special guests stopped by on their way to San Francisco to play in the big game, to help us give out the awards.

To prepare for the Maggie’s, we asked you, our readers, to help us pick your favorite places to eat, play and shop — and you didn’t disappoint.

In January the voting started and after several hundred ballots were cast, you showed us that you know this area better than anyone else.

We listened to your voice and the wait is over. We are proud to introduce to you, the 2016 Maggie Winners.
