Mermaid Cove introduces their new shop

STORY BY: LESLIE FOSTER

On the way to Oak Island, about half mile from Route 211, past an eclectic mix of small businesses, you will see a charming, pink, picket fence for Mermaid Cove; It beckons drivers to this delightful, coastal inspired, apparel and gift shop. Mermaid Cove always has a happy, “summer is never over” vibe, that is evident the minute you step out of your car. Colorful garden-art, stepping stones, and sale racks attract your attention, before you even enter the store. Once inside Mermaid Cove, you will notice it is full of everything that you may need, but truthfully, just want for yourself, or to bring home as a souvenir.
